We are incredibly proud of the aspiring first-gen lawyers who established and continue to develop Texas YJA. This student led organization  supports aspiring first-generation lawyers from underrepresented populations. Just like the Youth Justice Alliance non-profit, they share a mission of democratizing the law by redistributing legal knowledge and legal power, while working toward a legal profession with the language skills and cultural competencies to serve all Americans.
