For aspiring legal professionals:

We provide mentorships, institutional knowledge, and resources to help students achieve their academic and professional goals, while working toward a more inclusive legal profession.

Students learn from an experienced attorney  at a conference for criminal defense lawyers

Students listen to the head partner of Jackson Walker after meeting with a team of attorneys

Students take a quick photo after meeting with attorneys at Dell Inc.

For students pursuing non-legal careers:

We provide legal knowledge that will protect them from attacks on their rights as tenants, migrants, employees, and students, while developing their creativity, communication skills, and critical thinking.

Students take a photo between rounds of mock trial as they develop their communication skills

"For our community, for our families, for ourselves, ALL RISE!"

Friendsgiving with the Akins Legal Eagles!     We learn together and support each other!

Imagine if legal education content reflected the diversity of our communities instead of the lack of diversity in legal professionals. Our students are valuable resources, helping us spread legal knowledge while transforming representation in legal education.

For communities lacking access to legal support:

We provide an alternative to denials of service by overburdened legal aid  and financially inaccessible private attorneys. Best of all, we can communicate in their language of choice!

The UT Law Aggie Society and the Akins Legal Eagles after preparing wills for 50 teachers!

Students served as witnesses and document reviewers with the Cancer Law clinic.

Students finalize documents while working with clients and our campus notary!

Imagine if high school legal clinics become as common as high school social workers. With professionals ready to help students and families overcome the legal symptoms of poverty, children can go back to focusing on academics and being kids.
